Public Health Research
Information
Improving health outcomes for underserved or at-risk populations, Globatex Research is here to
help. We carry out projects to address health issues aimed at providing better healthcare and public
awareness among most-at-risk communities in Ghana.
We sought to assist foundations, governments, non-governments, international organizations,
donors, and healthcare agencies address urgent healthcare challenges and crises, prioritizing access
to equitable, sustainable, and high-quality healthcare for the poorest and most vulnerable
populations.
We also build resilient response systems, as well as support response to infectious disease
outbreaks and public safety crises.
Our public health research services include:
1. Knowledge, Attitude, and Perception (KAP) Studies
2. Outreach Strategy/Community Health Days Assessment
3. Health Economics Analysis (Economic Burden of Disease)
4. Public Health Surveillance Systems
3.4.1 Knowledge, Attitude, and Perception (KAP) Studies
Globatex Research conducts KAP studies to reveal misconceptions or misunderstandings on public
health issues that may represent obstacles to policies and health improvements.
3.4.2 Health Outreach Surveys/Community Health Days Assessment
Our health outreach surveys provide information on health-related services to community residents
who are at a socioeconomic disadvantage to address homelessness, drug abuse, mental disorders,
youth problems, and prostitution. We conduct local public awareness activities through broad
(countywide) and targeted (community-specific) interaction.
3.4.3 Economics Analysis (Economic Burden of Disease)
We are experts in carrying out surveys to estimate the economic costs associated with diseases in
populations, in order to provide a complete picture of the adverse impact of ill health on human
welfare.
3.4.4 Public Health Surveillance
Increasingly, managers in ministries of health and finance in developing countries and donor
agencies are recognizing that data from effective surveillance systems are useful for targeting
public health resources and programs. At Globatex Research, we carry out systematic public health
data collection and analysis for those responsible for preventing and controlling diseases.

policy and strategies
